We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our Foundation and their commitment to supporting our teachers and students. Through Foundation Grants, nearly $5,000 was awarded to these teachers to fund innovative classroom projects, instructional resources, and programs that will positively impact learners across our school. Our FCCLA students had big wins at Regional STAR Events today! They earned top honors across multiple events:

Jane Austen Reading Challenge Winners Announced
Students recently took part in a Jane Austen Reading Challenge, inviting students, staff, and community members to celebrate a love of reading through classic literature. Participants competed by reading the most books within their age category, with winners receiving a certificate, prizes, and a $10 gift card to purchase their next new book.
This year’s challenge winners are Suttyn Krause, Finley Krause, Lynn Doane, and Maddie Whitfield. Their dedication and enthusiasm for reading truly stood out.
Thank you to all students, staff, and community members who participated and helped make the challenge a success. Huge congratulations to our winners—we are proud of your accomplishments and excited to see what you read next!

Our Okeene Lady Whippets won 3rd place in the Shattuck Shootout today while our boys fell short in overtime. The Whippets play at home tomorrow night against Geary starting with junior high at 4:00pm!
