
The 5th & 6th graders enjoyed the day at the Oklahoma City Comets baseball game yesterday! The weather turned out perfect for their Field Trip! Every student received a Comets baseball hat.





These FFA members have been living on Tulsa time for the last few days. Tonight, they watched Avery Fisher and Meade Brickman receive their state wheat awards. Then, in the later session, Meade Brickman and Destry Swaim received the highest degree the state association can bestow upon FFA members, the State FFA degree.








Items for the Goodie basket for State Track can be dropped off to the HS library by Thursday.

Okeene Whippets came together for an exciting day of competition at our Spring eSports Tournament—and what a day it was! From fast-paced fun to focused gameplay, our students showed up ready to compete, support each other, and have a great time.



It's a great day to be a Whippet! The girls ran well and finished 5th place as a team! The boys competed as well and came away with a Regional Championship! #relentless #dawgtuff




William Woolley, Benjamin Cheap, Blayne Jenkins, and Brett Woolley make up our 4 x 400 relay team that finished first at regionals and qualified for state.


All of our throwers qualified for the state track meet next week. Ace Long, Meade Brickman, Jakowsy Lopez, Pablo Macias, and Korey Turnham. Congrats!!

Hudson Feely qualified for state with a second place finish in the high jump. Lincoln Feely qualified in the 4 x 800 relay with a first place finish.

Bailee Grigsby placed second in the 100 m hurdles to qualify for State. Lola Pheatt finished first in the 2 mile run to qualify for state. Lola also placed third in the mile run to qualify. Congrats Girls!


Korey Turnham placed second in the shotput and second in the discus to qualify for state. Sydney Biggs placed third in the shot put to qualify for state. Congrats!


Corbin Cagle qualified with a third place finish in the pole vault. Brayson Roberts qualified with a first place finish in the pole vault. Congrats Boys!


Pablo Macias qualified with a third place finish in the discus. Congrats!!


Maddie Brickman qualified in the 4 x 800 relay and 100 m hurdles. Kadence Lewis qualified in the 4 x 800 m relay. Jakowsy Lopez qualified with a first place discus throw. Just Shroeder qualified with a 2nd place finish in the 110 m hurdles and pole vault. Sophia Zamora qualified in the 4 x 800 relay.


Congratulations to our March Madness Reading Challenge Winners! 📚🏀 🥇Champions- Mustangs 🥈2nd Place- Vikings Championship game MVP was Casen Cottrill with 17.5 points! The G.O.A.T Award Winner was Raylee Fisher with over 100 points during the tournament! Congratulations readers!
