May 1-6th Events

Our Whippets had a great showing at the Regional Track meet in Stroud. The boys finished as the Regional Runner-Up. Many athletes qualified for the State meet at Western Heights on Friday & Saturday. Good luck, Whippets!💙🐾

NHS Instillation and trip is Monday, May 1 at 8:30 in the auditorium.

Avery Fisher has been coming to the elementary school to teach about different 4-H topics like making butter and tortillas. The students are getting great hands on experience along with yummy treats too! Thank you Avery, Baylea, and Mrs. Fisher.

Market Day in 2nd grade was a fun and exciting way to become an entrepreneur and learn all about our economy. Students created art for 1st graders to purchase (with fake money, of course). The group that earned the most money won the Market Day Event and became The Entrepreneurs of the Year!💰🤑

Last week Doc was in all the high school Art classes every day. He was instructing and helping students create faces in clay. He brought a replica of his sculpture and explained what influenced him to start creating work. He also spoke on how he started creating and how his interest in art started. He shared a story about creating a plaster cast that needed to look like a dress boot for a cadet. The small sculpture was his next work which was inspired by a picture he saw in the newspaper.
