Okeene Public Schools will dismiss school and run busses at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 25th. This is to allow district teachers, support staff, administrators, along with band and cheer members ample time to travel to Boise City for the scheduled 7:00 PM district football game between Boise City and Okeene.

Elementary awards assembly is tomorrow, Friday Oct. 18th at 8:15am in the auditorium. It will also be broadcast live on okeenewhippets.tv

Parent University II will be tomorrow at 5PM in the Auditorium. Any student (1st-12th) whose guardian attends and signs in will get 5 points bonus on their next math test. Topics being covered include College Remediation, New McGraw Hill math program, State Test Score and the Honors program.

Okeene FCCLA took 11 members to District Conference in Cherokee. They listened to a great inspirational speaker, Kelly Barnes. The group then toured NWOSU's campus.

Congratulations to Caden Reames for being selected to represent the state of Oklahoma in "The Ambassadors of Music."
He will tour Europe, and perform in venues in various countries.


Our second graders have been learning about states of matter in science and reading. They’ve read books on the topic, wrote procedural texts, and even tied in a math standards - graphing and arrays! They made Coke floats for the final activity!
