The 6th grade reading class spent the last few weeks listening to Mrs. Westfahl read The Boy Who Carried Bricks by Oklahoma author, Alton Carter. Last week they were able to have an impromptu zoom session with him where he answered many questions about his book and filled them in on what he's up to now. Mr. Carter showed some of his artwork he has been working on and even had his dog, Marley show a trick. They are starting his next book, Aging Out, and are anxious to see how Mr. Carter's life turned out after he "aged out" of the foster care system.
