STEM SPOTLIGHT 🔦
Mrs. Krause and Mrs. Unruh's 1st graders learned an about American Symbols during a history unit. After the unit, each student was able to make their favorite American landmark on a 3-D printer inside their classrooms. Students learned how to load and unload the machine, replace filament, and troubleshoot when the prints didn't go according to plan.🗽
Tonight marks the kickoff of our basketball season, and we’re ready to cheer on our teams as they hit the court for the first game of the year! A special shoutout to our freshmen—this is your first high school game, and we know you’ll make it unforgettable!

🎄✨ A Magical Night in OKC! ✨🎄
Many of our Gifted and Talented students, top readers, and a select few had the incredible opportunity to travel to Oklahoma City for an unforgettable evening. The night began with a delicious dinner at Hideaway Pizza, followed by a breathtaking performance of A Cirque Christmas at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall. The show, featuring dazzling acrobatics and captivating magic, truly brought the holiday spirit to life.
A very special thank you goes out to Mr. Feely, Mrs. Feely and Mr. Hursh for their invaluable help, as well as Mountain Country Foods for their generous support. Their contributions make trips like this possible, creating lifelong memories for our students that they will cherish forever. ❤️

🎃October Teachers of the Month🎃
Ms. Hauser has taught for 15 years. This is her 5th year at Okeene. She feels blessed to get to teach at the same school that she graduated from and to be a part of the Whippet family.
Mrs. Hursh teaches 7/8th reading and writing and English 1. She coaches eSports and is our 7-12th Gifted and Talented coordinator.
This is her 31st year teaching and she is originally from Iowa-born and raised.
