3rd grade attended Pioneer Life Homesteading at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid. They had to go through daily chores of homesteading, toured the museum, played games from that era, etc. They wore period clothing and took lunch pails filled with a typical 1893 Oklahoma Territory lunch. They ended the day at the park.
